That the number of unhealthy people in Sweden is rising is a fact. While many people need to eat better and do more physical activities, health awareness is also increasing – an awareness that at times becomes excessive. But what’s actually important, and how can we live soundly without making our lives difficult or feeling like we’re sacrificing our quality of life?
Learn@Lunch is a lecture series created to stimulate and inspire your mind while at the same time filling your stomach. Since we all have time for lunch, we’ll kill two birds with one stone and present relevant and current topics and questions, offer free lunch – and learn something new every time.
Therese Ljungkvist is a health consultant and a lecturer who downplays health discussions and shifts the focus from health as an achievement and optimization, to instead discussing how manageability and meaningfulness can become a helping hand in stressful environments.
With a bachelor’s degree in health sciences and with a long history in preventative health precautions in working environments, she has a lot of knowledge and insight in what forms and determines people’s health and well-being. Her self-composed motto “Health – Essential, Not Indispensable” has become the given name of her signature lectures where she discusses the topic of health from a different angle and includes facts and recognition from our daily lives with a big sense of humor.
As usual, we’re offering a delicious lunch while you’re getting inspired – RSVP before November 20th by CLICKING HERE or send an e-mail to our Head Curator, where you’re also welcome to give tips for future speakers firstname.lastname@example.org
