Tomorrow, we are changing our name from Summit to Helio after our first 19 years.
At the start of the dotcom era we opened our doors to the world. One big space on the 18th floor with no walls, the first real broadband connection in town and a community of the most innovative companies of their generation. “The Summit at Hitech Building” was our name back then, one of the first coworking spaces in the world.
Ever since, we have continued our journey to become the best place on the planet to grow your business and foster new ideas. Today, we have eight locations with shared workspace and a community of hundreds of members, spanning from angel investors and eSport teams to startups in everything from drones to sustainable coffee.
We believe that big ideas don’t happen in isolation, and by clashing industries and people in one place we can create an environment that sparks brilliance. A place where a chance encounter at the coffee machine or a heated workshop discussion can become the first step of something that might change the world.
Summit has changed and grown fast in the last years, and now it’s time for our identity to do the same. The name Helio is rooted in the Greek language and bares a meaning of the sun, but first and foremost we want Helio to be the name of Stockholm’s best place for work.
