Alex Lindgren, born 1965, grew up in Gröna Lund – a family business for generations. Already as an eight-year-old, he would help out at the amusement park and as a 19-year-old, he became part of the board as Vice CEO. In 1992, he took control of the role of Operative in Chief for external events.
Learn@Lunch is a lecture series specifically developed to stimulate and inspire you while we simultaneously fill your stomach. Since we all have time for lunch, we wanted to kill two birds with one stone and present relevant and current topics and questions, offer lunch – and learn something new every time.
Already as a child, Alex Lindgren became a skateboard-pro, sponsored by American companies. He’s had a strong passion for skate-culture since his teenage days, which made Alex a perfect to fit for building Sweden’s first skate park inside a shopping mall – P.U.S.H – Performance Sk8 URBAN SKATE HOUSE, that opened in Gallerian on November 13 this year.
The new retail concept is already a success that has been written and Alex will share both anecdotes from his time at Gröna Lund, when he taught Bob Marley to skateboard, about this teens, skating in the aisles of Gallerian and he will also tell us about the opportunities of P.U.S.H – Stockholm’s new commerce site, meeting point and skateboard place.
As usual, we’ll treat you to a yummy lunch while you’re being inspired – RSVP here latest by December 17.
