Russiaâs full-scale invasion of Ukraine is now entering its fifth year. The bombing of cities, energy facilities, and civilians continues â and the winter has been one of the coldest in a long time, with temperatures dropping to -25°C in Kyiv.
The consequences are brutal for the entire society. There is a severe shortage of vehicles, generators, and materials for emergency care at the front.
We now want to mobilize the strength of Heliosâ thousands of members and raise funds for an ambulance that we will drive all the way to Ukraine ourselves and that can be put into service immediately in April. No intermediaries â just concrete help where it is needed most.
We are doing this via Karavanen Ukraina and their Ukrainian partners. The organization has for several years delivered vehicles and materials to where the needs are greatest. 100% of the collected funds go to the purchase of vehicles and equipment, which are delivered to Lviv for further transport toward the front.
Goal: Raise SEK 250,000 for a fully equipped ambulance to be driven down in April.
Delivery: Directly to Ukraine
Impact: More lives can be saved.
We will share more about this at upcoming member breakfasts, and there will also be an opportunity for one member to accompany us and deliver the ambulance to Lviv.
